Welcome! Hello reader, my name is Zahra Li and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my poetry book. I have been writing poetry and short stories since I was 10 years old, and I have always dreamed of creating writings that will bring readers joy and inspiration. I use poetry as an outlet for expressing my emotions, feelings, and thoughts whether I’m happy or sad. Short stories are also a way for me to express my emotions and creativity. The first collection is a tribute to the elderly; their lives, their wisdom, and the beauty that comes with age. Being a caregiver has helped me form a genuine connection with the elderly. I’ve learned so much from their stories, their wisdom, and their humor. It’s not just about helping them; it’s about sharing moments and making their days brighter. I feel lucky to be part of their lives and to bring care, kindness and compassion when it’s needed most. These poems reflect their resilience and strength, shining a light on the laughter, the sorrows, and the untold stories that deserve to be remembered.
